Fantastic experiences awaits you in Lyngen! The Lyngen alps are known for their alpine peaks, and skiers from the whole world come to Lyngen to experience this. On this weeklong ski touring trip you will get a whole week to explore the Lyngen peninsula with 5 ski touring trips with a IFMGA certified guide.
The bright days in march offer powder and good decents, from april/may the days have become som long that it does not get dark anymore. The views from the peaks are spectacular!
You will stay with XLyngen in Nord-Lenangen in a fishermans cabin or in an apartment on the pier edge, north on the Lyngen peninsula. All the meals are included, and breakfast and dinner is served in XLyngens panorama-restaurant with seaview. XLyngen serve traditional norwegian food, and use local food to enhance the overall experience.
Program
Day 1: Arrival and check-in
You will be picked up in Tromsø airport (TOS) and transpoted to XLyngen in Nord-Lenangen. The drive will take approximately 2-2,5 hours including the ferry between Breivikeidet and Svensby.
After check-in you will have time to relax, or explore the nearby area with kickbike or snowshoes before dinner is served in the restaurant at 7PM.
Day 2 - 6: Ski touring and after ski
After a nice breakfast with homemade bread, you will meet the guide for a quick briefing with safety procedures, before you go on todays ski touring trip. You will pack your lunch during breakfast, and will eat it on the way up, or on to of the summit before descent.
After an exciting day, and an unforgettable ski touring trip in the Lyngen Alps, it is time for After ski before dinner 19PM.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast it is time to checkout and head home. You will be transported to Tromsø airport (TOS)
