Visit Lyngenfjord has compiled information about where you will find prepared cross-country ski trails throughout the region.
During the winter season, there are several prepared cross-country ski trails in the Lyngenfjord region, most of which are prepared on a voluntary basis.
It’s also possible to go cross-country skiing outside the prepared trails. Ask your accommodation provider for local recommendations.

Ytre Lyngen

Near Lyngseidet

| Varto | An 8 km circuit is prepared by the local residents’ association. From late January to late April, the association sells coffee and waffles at the Varto cabin every Sunday and during Easter. Drive 4 km towards Koppangen, turn left into Vardoveien (signposted Grendehus) and drive 2 km until you reach the car park. |
