3 days kayaking expedition with Kayak Lyngen
Join our experienced guide on this 3-day-long kayaking expedition, where you get to investigate and explore Lyngenfjord.
You don’t need any prior kayaking experience, but you need to be in good physical condition.
Group size: 2-6 people.

Day 1: The first day we will paddle around our islands. We will have fun and learn technical movements to control your kayak in different situations. You will also learn how to rescue yourself and your entourage. In the evening we go to Solhov where you will get a double or twin room for the night.
Day 2 and 3: We start the day by driving to north of Lyngseidet. The starting point is quite remote and gives us the opportunity to see the wild elements without much interference from humans.
Sheltering bays will offer safe places to rest. We will spend the night there in tents. In the evening we will grill food on a bonfire. Afterwards you can relax in a hot sauna, and if you dare - take a swim in the arctic water. It's refreshing and cold. In case of bad weather, such as rain or cold wind, there is a cabin available for us to use.
On the last day, we will cross open water to get to a glacier. This place is only reachable by boat. We will also go by cliffs, waterfalls, and if we are lucky – see puffins and eagles.

Running shoes
Small bottle and thermos
Sleeping bag comfort 5°C
Efficient folding mattress
Energy snacks
